FMP - Week 6 - Part 1

Feedback and more texturing!

Let me start by saying that there is most definitely a reason behind the fact that we are advised to put aside just as much time if not more than we spent on our high poly sculpt on out texturing. A lot of this process is trial and error and a lot may not even be that visible to the outside eye but these iterations are necesary in order to make a cohesive looking character.

Above is what I had so far before getting more feedback from my tutors, I knew that something still wasn't right about the character so I asked if there was anything I could fix and I was advised that if I had the energy, I could go back to my high poly and change a few things.

First off, the neck was a little too short and due to this, her head, neck and chest are were all blending in as one in a way, and as a smaller side note I was also told that the characters bangs were cutting the character's face up a little too much so moving those would be useful as well.

Taking this advice,  iwent back and tweaked these things and after stepping back and comparing these two before and after screenshots (after shown above) I definitely think that changing these things was the best decision. Now I just need to change up some more things as I still don't think I have the textures fully nailed yet.
